One of the opportunities I had growing up was modeling. It paid much better than babysitting and gave me self esteem and confidence. At this point in life more than any other, I choose to be a “model” of health and wellness in body, mind, and spirit. I have come back from setbacks powerfully and my vision is to lead and support others with the power of love and possibilities in finding wellness again. My personal experiences with challenges have given me gifts, tools, strength, and courage to be a “model” for others.
Good emotional and physical health is essential to happiness and a life well lived. In order to have good health, it is important we have great self-care so that we are prepared when a crisis arises. Taking charge of your health, listening to your body, reducing stress, feeding your body well, exercising, and choosing the right health partners (including a great coach), help us to move quickly to being well again. When we are well our energy level grows and our bodies and minds can be more efficient. When we are being efficient we can achieve flow in life and begin Living Boldly.
Our beliefs and perceptions play a big part in outcomes we desire. I am a recognized TED* Practitioner. The Empowerment Dynamic helps to shift from believing we are victims to believing that we are the deliberate sculptors in the story of our lives. In coaching, I utilize methods such as TED* to make it easy to shift from being a victim to being a creator, from a limited life to one of Infinite Potential. I will help you create your blueprint for success in what you want to achieve. In my own struggle with a severe injury I used TED* as one of the ways to create my own blueprint. TED emphasizes conscious choice and baby steps. Making responsible choices and taking baby steps can determine whether we go through life joyfully or miserably.
I also use the Emotional Freedom Technique with many of my clients. EFT is an energy psychology that helps with releasing resistance so that we can be free to heal faster. I trained with Brad Yates who is an EFT guru. It is one of the many techniques I employ to assist you to Overcome Trauma and live a life of wellness.
Recently I read a book called, The Healing Code, (See the Library). It is a new method that helps with healing by releasing pain memories so that you can strengthen your immune system. To be well we must reduce stress in our life and heal from our hearts. Our heart is the emperor of our body and it is with our heart that healing becomes coherent and our bodies remain well.
My biggest belief that has given me wellness has been that anything is possible and that there are no dead ends. I choose to believe that “I can” and I am here to tell you that “You can too!”
